Breakfast @ Tiffany's

I can't remember if it was a Monday or Tuesday, but I was walking the streets of Paris after a photo assignment. The sky was dark as it started to rain. I passed several art studios, umbrella in hand, when this Breakfast at Tiffany's painting (above) caught my eye. I love, love, love it.

Bum's the word

I collect magazines, articles, and the like. And I started a book with some of my favorite things featured in magazines such as Elle and Vogue. Including an article titled "Beautify your bum!", which sounds silly. But it's honestly one of the most hilarious articles I've ever read {Click on the first photograph and it should be large enough to read. Please enjoy}. These are just some pages I put together and thought I would share.

Where ART thou

I've given much thought to what I will place in my own home one day. These art pieces from Z Gallerie are just some things I fancy. I used to think my home would be the whole antique look, like my mother has decorated our home. But I think mine will be a mix of modern and shabby chic- light and bright colors. Not that I can decorate any time soon. I've recently decided I need to go to grad school. So perhaps I'll finally be done with schooling by 23.

Tiffy's Art

So back in the day, when I actually went on Myspace, I came across Tiffy's Art. And I instantly fell in love with her paintings. Some have words, others have scripture. But I love them all!

Candi Bar: Part 3

The last to the Candi Bar series. Just some more pretty little things. Enjoy.

Candi Bar: Part 2

Here are more pictures from Candi Bar. Here's a little Twilight, flowers, pretty dresses, and bright houses. Wouldn't it be fun to live in such a bright colored house? It all remind me of candy land. Delightful.

Collage creations

These are some collages I have created in the past. The last two are over four years old and consist of magazine clippings from old Ellegirl issues.

Letters from friends

I love receiving letters from my friend Gwenie and writing letters as well. The above pictures are shots I took of my bulletin board. The first shows an envelope Gwenie decorated for me with Gossip Girl quotes. The second picture, in the top left corner, is a pink letter she wrote. I loved the lettering! I've always been a fan of art and creating. And I think writing a letter is a perfect way to create art for your friends.

P.S. I just love this Gossip Girl quote that was written on the envelope.

Chuck: If I knew his name, I'd kill him.
Nate: Because you kill people now? What, you gonna hunt him down with your scarf?
Chuck: Don't mock the scarf, Nathaniel. It's my signature.

A delicate masterpiece

These delicate masterpieces are simply fascinating. The talented Su Blackwell is the creator of these beautiful pieces of art- Alice in Wonderland's Maddhatter Tea Party and Wildflowers. Blackwell's creations bring the reader's imagination to life. In the artist statement she wrote, "It is the delicacy, the slight feeling of claustrophobia, as if these characters, the landscape have been trapped inside the book all this time and are now suddenly released."
