Holy cats, a veggie thief! This must be investigated thoroughly.

"I want to remember everything. And I want to know everything."

"Well, you must realize, Harriet, knowing everything won't do you a bit of good unless you use it to put beauty in this world. True or false? "

"True."

"Good friends are one of life's blessings. Don't give them up without a fight."

"You know what? You're an individual, and that makes people nervous. And it's gonna keep making people nervous for the rest of your life. "

"There are as many ways to live in this world as there are people in this world, and each one deserves a closer look."

"I will always have a notebook."

When I was a little girl I wanted to be Harriet the Spy. In some ways, I still do. ★

  8. Oh my goodness, I absolutely LOVE Harriet The Spy. The movie and the book. I have about 30 half-filled composition notebooks lying around from when I was little, and an entire spy kit, cause I wanted to be just like her :D

  13. We should always have the spirit, because this makes the mature soul more gentle...

I have never known Harriet the Spy because I was not raised in English- speaking country... but this looks so classic to me. Very nostalgic.
