Over the past three to four years I have always hosted a Halloween dinner party for my friends. We'd eat endless amounts of yummy food and play games at the house. Sometimes we'd carve pumpkins. Sometimes we'd go to the corn maze. Each year was a different theme. Last year it was something to do with vampires and the prior year was a masquerade. There'd be a playlist and we'd wash the night down with sparkling apple cider. It was tradition.

I'm waiting...
Seriously. I'm ready to take all my cardigans, jackets and long sleeve tees off their hangers. I'm looking forward to late October and November when I can finally cuddle up with a cup of Starbucks caramel apple spice. When the tile freezes the bottom of my feet when I wake up in the morning. When the sun goes down early at night. And most importantly, when I host my Halloween Dinner Party. Arizona, why must you stay summer longer than anywhere else in the United States?
