I truly LOVED this movie. It's easily my favorite film of the year, featuring the most lovable characters I've seen in a while-- Aibileen, Minny and Cecelia. & I loved Emma Stone as Skeeter, a courageous + strong-willed woman striving to be a journalist. This story made my heart happy and brought me to tears half a dozen times. And it makes me hope that maybe, just maybe, I'll put my journalism major to good use one day. All it takes is courage.
This was a book turned film, correct? I will have to get my hands on the book and read it soon, because the movie definitely looks excellent.
