Countdown to Happiness


Currently counting down to:
1. Cool weather, pumpkin spice lattes, corn mazes, Halloween decorations & all things fall.
2. Spending Labor Day weekend at my grandparents cabin in the mountains, where I can lay on the front porch swing bundled in an over-sized sweater and write, write, write.
3. Three fantastic concerts in the upcoming months--
September: Bon Iver + Fleet Foxes // October: Taylor Swift // November: The Civil Wars
4. The third season premiere of The Vampire Diaries. + The release of the second season on DVD. + Finishing the first season with one of the besties (her first time seeing the show).
5. Thanksgiving spent in Tennessee with my parents. By then it will have been 11 months since I've last seen them, and my dog (hoping she remembers me!). & Wishing for snow & some time spent in Nashville.

    I am so excited for fall to arrive! Don't tell, but I'm also secretly kind of excited for school to start. Cross country races, a Jack's Mannequin concert, all of the holidays that make the winter time fun, and of course the day that I send in my college application and HOPEFULLY hear back from my Early Decision school with good news... that will be the day.

    I can't wait for Autumn (that is what us Europeans call The Fall) as it is my absolute favourite season. I love walking in Autumn, with colourful leaves all around me, wrapped up warm in a coat and scarf (in Ireland it gets really cold!) :)

    I am looking forward to all of your NUMBER ONE listed things. Except change the word latte to SCONE :).

    praise God that starbucks has the amazing Pumpkin Scones available in 7 days!! :). I love them
    I have a problem.
