I’m going for the cliché by apologizing for neglecting my blog for two weeks. Believe me, it was unintentional. Life is hectic and I can’t remember the last free evening I had. But instead of diving into my crazy life & writing about the serious— like how I’ve been super emotional this week and it’s the first day I haven’t felt like crying. Or how I blame my zillion stupid moments today on the fact that a black cat walked in front of my car. Or how this change and adjusting is more freakin’ difficult than I thought it would be. Or how I don’t want to be the person that breaks down over not being able to see her dog everyday. Or how driving from Tennessee to Arizona for the last time in who knows how long is enough to make me home sick from a place where I only lived for four months. Or trying to explain to you that I know exactly how pathetic that all sounds. Well, I’ll talk about that later. Not that it's something worth sharing, but Lord knows I’m going to write about it. Anyway...
I’ll slowly make my way back into regular blogging by sharing three pretty things that I’d love to have once I live in an apartment of my own.
1. Antoinette Fainting Sofa from Urban Outfitters
2. Pretty pillows like this Hand-Dyed Bouquet Pillow and Gathered Velvet Pillows from Urban Outfitters
3. The above poster of John Wayne in some sort of shabby chic frame

ReplyDeleteYou know what they say, "Home is where the heart is." It's got to be hard being away from your family :[ I don't see mine much, trust me, it gets easier with time. And it makes you enjoy the time you do get with them all the more.
oooooh nice wishlist. thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteDon't worry about it. We all understand how hectic life can get, so you are of course forgiven. ;) Just write whenever you can! But, gosh, that sofa is just gorgeous. I love the color.
