When you read a book as a child, it becomes a part of your identity in a way that no other reading in your whole life does.
-Kathleen Kelly, You've Got Mail
Did anyone else read The Hundred Dresses as a child? It was, and is to this day, one of my favorites. My other childhood favorite was the first book of The Boxcar Children series. I've decided that, when I'm older, there will be a section of my book collection that will contain only children's books. And this section will also include my favorite books I read when I was 11: From the Files of Madison Finn. I can still remember the day I discovered these books. We were in a small bookstore in the mall near my house and I was in search of a good book. To this day I own up to book 12 in the series.
I haven't read those, but I love the quote! You've Got Mail is one of my favorite movies
