GGFashion {two}!

Don't you just love the dream world that exists within the show Gossip Girl? The world where a 15-year-old girl can design dresses that are as couture as Marc Jacobs and the like. Where a highschool Queen B can wear an outfit to school that is worth well over $10,000. Not to mention, having a fashion designer for a mother. Completely normal for Upper East Siders Blair Waldorf, Serena van der Woodsen and Jenny Humphrey.

Ever since Blair Waldorf made her debut into teenage drama, fashion has changed forever {well, at least a few seasons}. Headbands have certainly made a comeback. In the pilot episode Blair wears a pretty black dress and tights, along with a headband placed in her perfectly teased, curly hair. And it's still one of my favorite outfits. Blair has even been compared to the likes of Holly Golightly {Audrey Hepburn's character in Blair's favorite movie, Breakfast at Tiffanys}. I must say, she certainly has the prettiest wardrobe, and the girliest. But am I the only one who misses Blair's old Hollywood glamour style inspired by real life fashion designer Abigail Lorick {featured in season one}. Not to mention, her curly locks suited her better than straight hair.

Then there is Serena van der Woodsen, who can put together an outfit in five minutes and still look perfectly put together. Her style is much more laid back and casual. And her leather jackets and boots are simply to die for.

And what about Jenny Humphrey? How was it she could sport a hoodie and jeans one minute, and the next she's wearing a dress that could be fit for Ms. Waldorf herself. Not to mention, she designs her own clothes, which is certainly impressive for a 15-year-old girl. But somewhere along the way, innocent Jenny started sporting the rocker grunge look. Top that off with racoon eyes and a punky hairstyle. Not exactly appealing, Little J.
